MidlandHR to supply Leonard Cheshire Disability
MidlandHR have signed up Leonard Cheshire Disability to their iTrent payroll and HR software, providing a centralised system for over 7,000 employees across 140 sites throughout the UK.
The charity previously used an outsourced payroll bureau service to manage its HR needs, but decided it needed a more flexible arrangement.
‘Our payroll is extremely complex, with a vast number of people with multiple contracts and a high number of TUPE transfers,’ said Philip Thompson, project manager at Leonard Cheshire Disability.
‘With iTrent, we will be able to configure and define elements of the system to suit our unique and somewhat complicated HR requirements, giving us a certain level of flexibility and control which other leading providers simply couldn’t offer us.’
MidlandHR’s managing director, Iain Moffat, said the technology offered by iTrent was ideal for the organisation.
‘iTrent’s single database provides the charity with a centralised system which, due to its browser-based technology, is perfect for sharing between multiple sites,’ Moffat explained. ‘It makes best use of the latest technology, significantly reducing IT overheads and enabling simple, costeffective deployment to their 140 separate offices across the UK.’
MidlandHR already supplies HR, payroll, talent management and workforce planning solutions to several charities, including Oxfam, The Salvation Army and Shelter.
