New NEST chief takes over 22 September 2015

Helen Dean has now taken on her new role as chief executive of NEST following the announcement earlier this year that Tim Jones would be standing down.

Jones has now left NEST to pursue his interests in the digital money sector.

Dean said: “I’m really delighted to take up this position as we approach the third anniversary of auto-enrolment.Under Tim Jones’s leadership we’ve built very strong foundations and I’m looking forward to building on those to help NEST tackle the next stages of auto-enrolment.

“With five million people enrolled and another five million to come, auto-enrolment has crossed the halfway mark. We’ve got an amazing team of people at NEST and we’re all focused on our mission of helping millions more people save for retirement.”
