The Pensions and Payroll Data Interface Standard (PAPDIS) has been enhanced to add greater functionality for the auto-enrolment market.
PAPDIS 1.1 can now hold the data necessary to carry out statutory communications and worker assessment.
The PAPDIS enhancements were announced at the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals’ (CIPP) Capacity Crunch Conference.
Andy Agathangelou (pictured), chair of the CIPP’s Friends of AE and chair of Pensions BIB – the group of volunteer experts that builds PAPDIS – said: “We have made these improvements now so the market has time to embrace PAPDIS ahead of January 2016, when the number of companies reaching their staging date escalates to eye-watering levels.”
A PAPDIS community is being developed through www.papdis.org, which can be accessed for downloads, updates and support.
