ABS aims for five-star result

Payroll and business software provider Advanced Business Solutions (ABS) has been shortlisted in five categories at this year’s Software Satisfaction Awards.

In October, the supplier will discover how many accolades it has won from the categories Enterprise Payroll, Enterprise Accounting & Finance, Enterprise Human Resources & Human Capital Management, Business Intelligence & Corporate Performance Management and E-procurement Software.

Run by Sift Media in collaboration with Intellect, the annual awards ask UK end-users to mark nominated providers on ease of use, functionality, reliability and value for money. Over 10,000 users voted this year.

Simon Fowler, managing director of ABS, said: ‘ABS remains a leading provider of business applications for UK finance, HR and payroll departments. This is clearly demonstrated by ABS’s prominence in this year’s shortlist.’

ABS’s payroll software includes features such as a P11D manager, expenses management and electronic payslips.

Dean Dickinson, managing director of ABS public sector and enterprise, said: ‘Making the final of these esteemed awards in five different software categories reflects the success of our customer-led approach to product innovation, together with our continued focus on delivering high levels of customer service and support.’

The other providers to make the Enterprise Payroll category were Pegasus for Opera 3/Opera II Payroll and HR, Qtac Payroll Products for Qtac Payroll Manager, Sage UK for Sage 50 Payroll and for Snowdrop KCS Payroll.

Personal Audit Systems won the Enterprise Payroll 2010 award for its P11D Organiser.
